Regular Meeting

MEMBERS OP BOARD PRESENT: President R: Selfridge, Trustees, G. Ansley, L. Robinson,
D. Lambert, C. Smith, J. Graham. J. King was absent.
President Selfridge called meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with 15.ledge to the flag.
Roll call was taken. J. King was ab e~t.

Motion declared carried.
C. Smith made a motion to approve current invoices for payment. Seconded by D. Lambert.

Motion declared carried.
With approval of the Board, President Selfridge rescheduled the next. board meeting
on Tuesday, July 6th due to the July nth holiday weekend.
D. Lambert made a motion to accept Treasurer's May report. Seconded by. L. Robinson.
Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Robinson, aye; Lambert, aye; Smith, aye; Graham, aye.
Motion declared carried.
L. Robinson made a motion to pay T. & R. Construction Company $36,6G0.48 partial
payment estimate No. 2 for work on "Commercial Street Storm Sewer Improvements and
James Street Watermain Extension". This amount to be paid after clarification from
Engineer. Seconded by G. Ansley. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Robinson, aye;
Lambert, aye; Smith, aye Graham, aye. Motion declared carried.
President Selfridge presented Judy Watson a Certificate from Illinois Emergency
Services and Disaster Agency for completing the Initial Coordinator Seminar. Also
the President announced the Dresden Drill will take place Tuesday, June 29th at 6:OOp.m.
C. Smith made a motion to accept the FAU Project Agreement (Plaza Drive, IL. Rte. 59
and Division Street), with the stipulation President Selfridge shall appoint a
resident engineer within two weeks. Seconded by D. Lambert. Vote by roll call:
Ansley, aye; Robinson, aye; Lambert, aye; Smith, aye; Graham, aye. Motion declared
carried.
D. Lambert made motion to purchase a desk, chair & other supplies for Village
Administrator's office not to exceed $1,350.00, it's to be credited to contingency.
Seconded by Ansley. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Robinson, aye; Lambert, aye;
Smith, aye; Graham, aye. Motion declared carried.
G. Ansley made motion to hire Jane Boeve in the Village Clerk's office, retrovactive
to May 21, 19$2 at salary of $5.00 per hour. Seconded by C. Smith. Vote by roll
call: Ansley, aye; Robinson, aye; Lambert, aye; Smith, aye; Graham, aye. Motion
declared carried.

. Plainfield Villa e Soard
Regular Board Meeting
Mary Alice Lambert spoke on behalf of Plainfield Fest, asking permission to change
locations of "Beer Gardens" in respect to temporary liquor licenses. The locations
would be in the Sanctuary Restaurant parking lot and the property east of Dennis
Sullivan's Restaurant on Route 126.
D. Lambert made a motion to approve the change of location for the Beer Gardens
and grant temporary liquor licenses. Second by J. Graham. Vote by roll call:
Ansley, nay; Robinson, nay; Lambert, aye; Smith, aye; Graham, aye. Motion declared
carried.
