Regular Meeting
DATE: March 15, 1982 AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: President R. Selfridge, Trustees G. Ansley, J. Graham,
J. King, D. Lambert, L. Rabinson and C. Smith.
President called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with the pledge to the flag.
Roll call was taken. All members were present.
J. King made a motion to approve current invoices for payment. Seconded by D.
Lambert. Vote by roll call: King, aye; Lambert, aye; Rabinson, aye; Smith, aye;
Ansley, aye; and Graham, aye. 6 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
L. Rabinson made a motion to accept receipt of the treasurer's report. Seconded by
J. Graham. Vote by tall call: King, aye; Lambert, aye; Robinson, aye; Smith, aye;
Ansley, aye; and Graham, aye. 6 ayes, na nays. Motion declared carried.
Mr. Tom Hurley and Mr. Packy Cummings, residents of the Whispering Creek Subdivision .
directed questions to the Board and Village Attorney in regards to the Whispering
Creek Special Assessments..
J. King made a motion to advertise for bids for the 1976 Chevrolet Blazer (body style-
utility) starting at $2,000.00 (closed bidding) for April 5, 1982. Seconded by
C. Smith. Vote by roll call: King, aye; Lambert, aye; Robinson, aye; Smith, aye;
Ansley, aye;. and Graham, aye. 6 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
G. Ansley made a motion for the Village Attorney to draw up a Resolution for the
Will County Municipal Risk Management Insurance. Seconded by J. Graham. Vote by
roll call: King, aye; Lambert, aye; Robinson, aye; Smith, aye; Ansley, aye; and
Graham, aye. 6 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
D. Lambert made a motion to accept and approve the Communications Policy Manual as
written. Seconded by J. Graham. Vote by roll call: King, aye; Lambert, aye; Robinson,
aye; Smith, aye; Ansley, aye; and Graham, aye. 6 ayes, no nays. Motion declared
carried.
