Selfridge, Trustees G. Ansley, J. King, D. Lambert, L. Robinson and C. Smith. J. Graham absent. President called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with the pledge to the flag. Roll call was taken. J. Graham was absent. J. King made a motion to approve current invoices for payment. Seconded by D. Lambert. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; King, aye; Lambert, aye; Robinson, aye; and Smith, aye. 5 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. Board granted permission to the Salvation Army for their annual Doughnut Day on Friday, June 4, 1982. C. Smith made a motion to acknowledge receipt of the treasurer's report. Seconded by J. King. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; King, aye; Lambert, aye; Robinson, aye; and Smith, aye. 5 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. Mr. Vito Sebastiano represented the Plainfield Test committee requesting cooperation from the Village Board for their Plainfield Fest celebration to be this summer. President Selfridge informed any assistance from the Board stioiuld be directed to our Public Relations Chairman - James Graham. Mr. Don Netzel, representative from the Tele Communications, Inc., Kankakee, Illinois gave a presentation on Cable TV. L. Robinson made a motion to .approve the additional amount of $400.00 for the sub- stitution of a 6 inch tapping valve and sleeve in lieu of a 4 inch tapping valve and sleeve located at Lockport and James Streets for the Commercial Street Storm Sewer Improvements and James Street Watermain Extension. Seconded by G. Ansley. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; King, aye; Lambert, aye; Robinson, aye; and Smith, aye. 5 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. L. Robinson. stated that no policy has been set as to the cadets riding in the Village ambulances. Officer Greg Chapman presented Trustee J. King with a firearm Certificate from the Multi-Regional Criminal Justice Training and Education Project class and one from the Sbate of Illinois.
