City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of the said Board, Thursd -, June 19, 1919 , at 9 A.M. All members of the said Boa.rd being present Messrs. Gilbert, Taylor, and Peitz the following proceedings were had to- wit:- The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The Board instructed the Engineer -to get up plans for the improvement of South 4th St. from "A" to Main, and Ft. Wayne Ave. from Main to North "D" Street. The Board instructed the Clerk to notify the K. P. Bldg. Committee to have the rubbish, bricks, etc. cleaned away from the corner of South 8th & "A" Streets within ten (10) days from date. The Clerk presented the complaints from Council meeting of June 16th which were referred to the Board. The Board received from Ed. D. McNally, Secty. of the Board of Metro- politan Police Committee, the report of the sale of the Ford touting car used by the Police Dept . to the Bethard Auto Agency for the sum of $415.00. On:motion the sale was approved. Mr. Peitz moved that the claim of the Bethard Auto Agency of 1165.0( for the Dodge Touring Car to be used by the Police Dept. for emer- gency calls, be allowed and ordered paid. Seconded by Mr. Taylor so ordered. 111 . The Board meets to hear all persons interested or whose property is affected by the vacation of the alley on the west side of North 8th St. between lots 53 & 54 Sarah Sanders Add. tothe City of Richmond, as provided for under Declaratory Resolution 122-1919. No one ap- pearing and no remonstrance having been filed the Board now takes final action on said resolution, the same being confirmed without modification, and the Board orders that a roll be prepared of all 324 Thursday, June. 19, , 1919. owners or holders of property and all valuable interests there- in sought to be taken or to be injuriously affected which list or roll shall also describe the property beneficially affected. The Board fixed a price to be assessed as benefits to be $3.00 per front ft. on North 8th St. The Board instructed the Clerk to notify Dr. Kinsey to have the poplar trees removed, from infront of his property at #839 N. 10th -. St. ; also Cora M. Carman of #304 Pearl St. , and Frank Waltz of Hagerstown, Indiana, R.R. "A" to have the poplar trees removed from infront of their property on South 9th St. between S. "H" & South "I" ; and also to notify Dr. L. F. Ross to have the dead tree removed from infront of his property at 18 North 10th St. The Board instructed the Engineer to have the ball grounds rolled at the East End Play Grounds.
