PLAINFIELD VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Regular Meeting
DATE: December 21, 1981 AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: President R. Selfridge, Trustees G. Ansley, J. Graham,
J. King, and C. Smith. D. Lambert & L. Robinson were
absent.
President called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with the pledge to the flag.
Roll call was .taken. D. Lambert and L. Robinson were absent.
J. King made a motion to approve current invoices for payment. Seconded by C.
Smith. Vote by roll call: King, aye; Smith, aye; Ansley, aye; and Graham, aye.
4 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
President announced that I.D.O.T. will be having a hearing on January 14, 1982
in the Village Board morn at 7:30 p.m. in reference to the Route 59 & 30 widening.
President urged all trustees to be present at the meeting with the Will County
Municipal League December 28, 1981 at 7:30 p.m. to be held in the Village Board
room in reference to the Village insurance coverage.
J. King made a motion to pass Ordinance No. 1027 - Chapter 9, Article 5, An
Ordinance establishing a speed limit of thirty (30) miles per hour an Van Dyke
• Road. Seconded by C. Smith. Vote by roll call: King, aye; Smith, aye; Ansley,
aye; and Graham, aye. 4 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
On motion meeting adjourned 7:55 p.m.
