PLAINFIELD VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Regular Meeting
DATE: December 7, 1981
AT: Village Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESEPdT: President R. Selfridge, Trustees G. Ansley,
J. Graham, J. King, D. Lambert, L. Robinson,
and C. Smith.
President called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with the pledge to
the flag. Roll call was taken. All members of the Board were present.
J. King made a motion to approve the minutes as written of November 2,
9, and 16, 1981. Seconded by J. Graham. Vote by roll call: Graham,
aye; King, aye; Lambert, aye'; Robinson, aye; Smith, aye; and Ansley, aye.
6 ayes, no nays. Motion. declared carried.
Mr. Jim Rabb, Representative of the American Family Life Assurance Ca.
of Columbus requested permission to speak to Village employees in regards
to cancer and heart insurance. Board approved.
J. King made a motion to accept receipt of the Plainfield Police Pension
State Examination Fund Report. Seconded by G. Ansley. Vote by roll call:
Graham, aye; King, aye; Lambert, aye; Robinson, aye; Smith, aye; and-
Ansley, aye. 6 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
J. King made a motion-purchase Officer Friendly muppet presentation kit.
Seconded by C. Smith. Vote by roll call: Graham, aye; King, aye;
Lambert, aye; Robinson, aye; Smith, aye; and Ansley, aye. 6 ayes, no
nays. Motion declared carried.
G. Ansley made a motion to rebid for gas, oil and servicing of all Village
vehicles. Seconded by J. King. Vote by roll call: Graham, aye; Y.ing,
aye; Lambert, aye; Robinson, aye; Smith, aye; and Ansley, aye. 5 ayes,
no nays. Motion declared carried.
Board approved ESDA to add the explorer program associated with the
Boy Scouts+of America in their cadet program.
C. Smith made a motion to approve the amended resolution of the Village
Engineer on .State Jab #F91-297-79, Federal Aid Project M5138(27) with
extra clause added to Art. 4.5 (1) in said event the total net fee of
$11,200.00 shall be due. Seconded by J. Graham. Vote by roll call:
Graham, aye; King, aye; Lambert, aye; Robinson, aye; Smith, aye; and
Ansley, aye. 6 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
C. Smith made a motion to give all full time employees $25.00 and
part time employees $15.00 for their Christmas bonus. Seconded by
J. Graham. Vote by roll call: Graham, aye; King, aye; Lambert, aye;
Robinson, aye; Smith, aye; and Ansley, aye. 6 ayes, no nays. Motion
declared carried.
D. Lambert made a motion to purchase 2 chairs for dispatchers at a
total cost of $229.00. Seconded by J. Graham. Vote by roll call:
