PLAINFZELD VILLAGE BOARD OI' TRUSTEES
Continuation of November 2, 1981 Meeting
DATE: November 9, 1981
MEMBERS 0~' BOARD PRESENT:
AT: Village Hall
Trustees, G. Ansley, J. Graham, J. King, D. Lambert,
L. Robinson and C. Smith. President R. Selfridge
absent.
In the absence of the President, Shirley Yates, Village Clerk called the
continued meeting of November 2, 1981 to order at 7:30 p.m.
J. Graham made a motion to appoint Trustee G. Ansley as President pro-tem.
Seconded by L. Robinson. Motion declared carried.
L. Robinson made a motion to authorize the Village Engineer to submit the
Sewer System Evaulation Survey, Project No. C-172552 to the EPA for possible
sewer grants for the future. Seconded by J. King. Vote by roll call: Graham,
aye; King, aye; Lambert, aye; Robinson, aye; and Smith, aye. 5 ayes, no nays.
Motion declared carried.
J. Graham made a motion to approve the National Power Rodding Corporation
proposal for a one year contract effective November 1, 1981 to October 31,
1982 to clean grit chamber and remove berries at a cast of $850.00 per
cleaning. Seconded by L, Robinson. Vote by roll call: Graham, aye; King,
aye; Lambert, aye; Robinson, aye; and Smith, aye. 5 ayes, no nays. Motion
declared carried.
L. Robinson made a motion to approve the Village Engineer's proposal for
Distillers Berry Contract at a cost of $5,901.28 for the year January 1,
1982 to December 31, 1982. The Village Engineer will submit proposal to
Distiller's. Seconded by D. Lambert. Vote by roll call: Graham, aye;
King, aye; Lambert, aye; Robinson, aye; and Smith, aye. 5 ayes, no nays.
Motion declared carried.
Village Engineer presented the Board with the proposed improvements on Illinois
Route 59 from Illinois 126 to US 30 by IDO'T. It was the decision of the Board
to instruct the Village Engineer to request a Public Hearing from IDOT with all
the property owners involved.
On motion meeting adjourned at 9:32 p.m.
