The Board of public 'Works of the City of Mchmond, met in regular session at the office of said Board, - January 15th, 19149 at 9 O'clock A, I:* All the members of said Board being present, viz:- 1lecsrs, Bevis, !Larlatt and LIcItlinn. The following proceedings were had, to-wit:- 7 The City Civfib Engineer reported the completion of contract under Improvement 1:o3olution No. 370-1913, for a sewer went of C. & 0. Railroad run:ing from South "II" to South "J" Street The Board accepted the same and ordered assessment roll pre- pared. The Board unanimously adopted 2mprovement Resolution :,'o, 398- 19140 For an out -let to the sewer west of the C. & C. 7ailroad botween 11orth "C" & "D" Street, by extending the same to the rivers A petition was presented for the improvement of Southwest lOt' Street, from National road to '.%in Street, by grading & grave_- ing the roadway and constructing cement sidewalks, curbs & nutters on both sides thereof, between the points named, the same was referred to Ennincnr for investigaticn. d petition was presented for the improvement of the 1st alley south of Llain Street, by constructing a cement roadway the Rill width thereof, from South llth to 14th Street, on notion of Mr. ',.:arlatt, the City engineer was directed to prepare plans etc., for said improvement. On motion of L:r. Llarlatt, the Board confirmed the cancolation of contract for Burroughs Adding ,achine as made on November 13th, 1913, and approved a contract for Burroughs Adding L'nchine, Stand "G" Style 4174 U.S• for the sum of y666.90 as made by Sup't., of I.E, L• & p. p. on January 13th, 1914.
