I:. All the members 0f said Board being present, viz:-Ideosrs, Bavis, Marlatt and McMinn. The following proceedings rrero had, to-vrit:- The Board directed the Clerk to advertise for 'aids for the improvement of Main Street, from 22nd Street to east cor- poration line as provided for by Improvement Resolution IIo. 387-1913. The Board received notice from Richmond Homo Telephono Co, of removal of polo in S.17.2nd St, between Main St, and Rational Road, as requested by former Board. Idr. Miller, Chief of Fire Dept, was directed to have Hose wagon from No. 4 Company repaired. A petition was presented for an electric light at the cor- ner of South "H" & ©th Street, signed by Wmo i7aking and 52 others, the same visa taken under advisement. The Board approved the pay -rolls of the several different city departments for the lot half of January, 1914. Claims to the amount of 2521.56 were allowed and ordered paid. A claim in favor of Richard Sedgwick, in the sum of �'411.75 for repairs to automobile, claimed to have been damaged by the carelessnes & negligence of employees of the City Light plant, was referred to the City Controller for investigation.
