Regular Meeting
DATE: July 20, 1981 AT: V~.llage Hall
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: President R. Selfridge, Trustees G. Ansley, J. Graham,
L. Robinson & C. Smith. J. King and D. Lambert were absent.
President called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with the pledge to the flag. Roll
call was taken. J. King and D. Lambert were absent.
C. Smith made a motion to approve current invoices for payment. Seconded by L. Robinson.
Vote by roll call: Smith, aye; Ansley, aye; Graham, aye; and Robinson, aye. 4 ayes, no
nays. Motion declared carried.
J. Graham made a rnatioD to accept receipt of the Treasurer's report. Seconded by C.
Smith. Vote by roll call: Smith, aye; Ansley, aye; Graham, aye; and Robinson, aye.
4 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
C. Smith made a motion for Village to pay 100% of sidewalk replacement and the sidewalks
be replaced at the Village's discretion retroactive from April 1, 1981. Seconded by
L. Robinson.
C. Smith withdrew his motion.

L. Robinson made a motion that Harry Countryman be made temporary acting Superintendent
of the Water & Sewer Department at a rate of $18,200.00 per year effective July 25, 1981.
Seconded by C. Smith. Vote by roll call: Smith, aye; Ansley, aye; Graham, aye; and
Robinson, aye. 4 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
J. Graham made a motion to enter into an agreement with Plainfield School District ~f202
for Village Dispatching Service at a cost of $2,632.OZ per year. Seconded by L. Robinson.
Vote by roll call: Smith, aye; Ansley, aye; Graham, aye; and Robinson, aye. 4 ayes,
no nays. Motion declared carried.
On motion meeting adjourned to executive session at $:40 p.m.
The adjourned meeting reconvened at 11:35 P.M.
J. Graham made a motion to pay Ann.Hintze $15.00 per hour for her part time work.
Seconded by C. Smith. Vote by tall call: Smith, aye; Ansley, aye; Graham, aye; and
Robinson, aye: 4 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried.
