Thursday February 5the 1914.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday
February 5th, 1914, at 9 O'clock A. 1% All the members of
said Board being present, viz: Messrs, Bevis, Liarlatt and
I.icliinn. The following proceedings were had, to -wit: -
The Board moots to hear remontrances, if any, of persons
primarily assessed on account of construction of eewer, west
of The C. & 0. 12ailroad, ru.uaing from South "H" to "J" Street
as provided for by Improvement Resolution lie. 370-1913.
After hearing all persons interested and careflillg consider-
ing a verbal remonstrance by Henry Imhoff, ris to assessment
made against his property, the Board overrules the same and
thereupon being ihlly advised in the promises the Board ap-
proved a final asseosment roll confirming the original assess-
mont roll as heretofore approved, and ordered the same trans-
mitted forthwith to the Department of Finance.
Mr. Imhof£, complained of damages to fence and property be-
longing to him, done by Cronin & Meredith in mnlring the above
sewer, Messrs, Cronin & Meredith being present, stated they
would take care of any reasonable damages they may have ceur
to rmr, Imhoff's property.
The Board approved the contract & bond of John S. Duke, co.,
tractor under Improvement Resolution No. 398-1914.
Mr. Marlatt moved the City Attorney be directed to draw up an
agreement between the City & Wm. He He Sparks, whereby said
Sparks, may cultivate ground belonging to city on Newman Hill,
motion carried.
