Ansley, J. Graham, J. King, L. Robinson, and C. Smith. J. D'Arcy was absent. President called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with the pledge to the flag. Ro11 call was taken. J. D'Arcy was absent. Trustee C. Smith asked that Mrs. Seehafer of 6 Pratt Lane be placed on the agenda. G. Ansley made a motion to approve the current invoices far payment. Seconded by C. Smith. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Graham, aye; King, aye; Robinson, aye; and Smith, aye. 5 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. J. Graham made a motion to accept receipt of the Treasurer's report. Seconded by J. King. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Graham, aye; King, aye; Robinson, aye; and Smith, aye. 5 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. G. Ansley made a motion to follow the Village Engineer's recommendation allowing Mr. Bada to convert his existing dry bottom detention basins to a wet bottom retention pond. Seconded by J. Graham. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Graham, aye; King, aye; Robinson, aye; and Smith, aye. 5 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. C. Smith made a motion for the Village to accept the responsibility of plowing snow and sweeping streets at Pheasant Chase Subdivision and Whispering Creek Subdivision far a limited period of time. Seconded by J. King. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Graham, aye; King, aye; Robinson, aye; and Smith, aye. 5 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. J. King made a motion to direct the Village Planner to write a letter of objection for the proposed dump site on 111th. Street between Route 30 and Route 59 to the Illinois E.P.A. Seconded by L. Robinson. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Graham, aye; King, aye; Robinson, aye; and Smith, aye. 5 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. Mr. Bernard McCormick spoke on behalf of the residents on Pratt Lane requesting a street light. The Board requested the Village Clerk to contact the Commonwealth Edison Co. for their recommendation for the proper placement of the street light. L. Robinson made a motion to accept the low bid of Coffman Bros., Aurora, Illinois for the GMC 1 ton, 1981 truck with snowplow at a cost of $10,475.00 Seconded by J. King. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Graham, aye; King, aye; Robinson, aye; and Smith, aye. 5 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. L. Robinson made a motion that we purchase the proposed alarm system for We11 #3 and Well #4 as described in the letter of Enviromod Service for $2,096.00 plus, telephone installation of $79.00 and a monthly -2- PLAINFIELD VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES February 16, 1981 Regular Meeting telephone charge of $11.95. Seconded by C. Smith. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye; Graham, aye; King, aye; Robinson, aye; and Smith, aye. 5 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. On motion meeting adjourned at 8:50 P.M.
