Ansley, J. Graham, J. King, L. Robinson, and C. Smith. J. D'Arcy, absent. President called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. with the pledge to the flag. Rall call was taken. J. D'Arcy was absent. G. Ansley made a mation to approve current invoices far payment with the exception of Baish Construction Co. bill to be $972.50. Seconded by C. Smith. Vote by roll call: Robinson, aye; Smith, aye; Ansley, aye; Graham, aye; and King, aye. 5 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. L. Robinson made a motion to accept the receipt of the Treasurer's report. Seconded by J. Graham. Vote by roll call: Robinson, aye; Smith, aye; Ansley, aye; Graham, aye; King, aye. 5 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. J. King made a motion to acknowledge receipt of the Plan Commission report. Seaanded by G. Ansley. Vote by tall call: Robinson, aye; Smith, aye; Ansley, aye; Graham, aye; and King, aye: 5 ayes, no nays. 'Motion declared carried. The Board recommended that the Village .Planner write a letter to the Illinois Department of Transportation requesting that a study be made of the Illinois 59 viaduct under the E. J. & E. Railroad tracks dangerous situation and that they respond to the Village with their findings. Copies of the letter should be sent to all state and federal elected officials to make them aware of the Village's concern. J. King made a motion to adopt Ordinance #999 ~ Chapter 9, Article 9, An Ordinance banning parking at certain places within the Village; Section 9-2-56: South side of Lockport St. from Dillman St. to Center St. between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. on days when school is in session. Seconded by J. Graham. Vote by roll call: Robinson, aye; Smith, aye; Ansley, aye; Graham, aye; and King, aye. 5 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. L. Robinson made a motion to enter into an agreement with Distillers Company, Ltd. Berry Contract. Seconded by J. King. Vote by roll call: Robinson, aye; Smith, aye; Ansley, aye; Graham, aye; and King, aye. 5 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. L. Robinson made a motion to adopt Ordinance #1000 - Chapter 6, Article 3, Sec. 3-8: Special Charge Contracts; Sec. 3-$-3: An Ordinance authorizing an agreement providing for charges of sewer services to the Distillers Company, Ltd. Seconded by C. Smith. Vote by roll call: Robinson, aye; Smith, aye; Ansley, aye; Graham, aye; and King, aye. 5 ayes, no nays. Motion declared carried. L. Robinson announced that E.S.D.A. will be the headquarters for the Dresden Nuclear Drill to be on October 28, 1980 from 9:00 A.M. to 6:30 P.M. G. Ansley made a motion for Glenn Kinley to purchase a plastic runner for the foyer to protect the carpet. Seconded by L. Robinson.
