MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: President Selfridge, Trustees, G. Ansley,
J. Graham, J. King, L. Robinson, and C. Smith.
J. D'Arcy, absent.
President called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.
Roll call was taken. J. D'Arcy was absent.
President announced the scheduled September 1, 1980 be changed to
September 2, 1980 due to the holiday.
L. Robinson made a motion to authorize the Village attorney to draw
up an ordinance for the proposed amendments to the subdivision
control ordinance. Seconded by C. Smith. Vote by roll call: Ansley,
aye; King, aye; Robinson, aye; and Smith, aye. 4 ayes, no nays. Motion
declared carried.
J. King made the motion to grant the bid for the sludge drying beds to
Tony Tomich &. Sons, Inc. 1924 Oakland Ave.., Joliet, Illinois for
$52,020.00. Seconded by J. Graham. Vote by roll call: Ansley, aye;
Graham, aye; King, aye; Robinson, aye; and Smith, aye. 5 ayes, no
nays. Motion declared carried.
G. Ansley made a motion to authorize issuance of a check in the amount
of $3,500.00 to ESDA. Seconded by J. King. Vote by roll call: Ansley,
aye; Graham, aye; King, aye; Robinson, aye; and Smith, aye. 5 ayes,
no nays. Motion declared carried.
It was the decision of the board for the Village Clerk to monitor
and pay the police officer's uniform allowance for the fiscal year
up to $150.00; anything remaining will be paid to the officer at
the end of the fiscal year; and at the time of termination of an
officer it will be pro-rated on the condition of their uniform.
