• Monday , June 2 , 1919 .
The Board of Public Wroks of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of the said Board, Monday, June
2, 1919 , at 8 :30 A.M. Two members of the said Board being pre-
sent Messrs. Gilbert and Taylor, absent Mr. Peitz , the following
- proceedings were had to-wit: --
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. I/
The Board took up the hids.;submitted on Thursday , May 29th for
one car or more of sewer tile ,after careful consideration Mr.
Taylor moved that the Tiger Coal Cos bid being the lowest that
they be awarded the contract , seconded by Mr. Gilbert so ordered.
On motion the Board instructed the Park Supt . to put up proper
signs in drive-ways through Glen Miller Park for people to keep to
the right.
The Board instructed the City Engineer to have a water tap put in
at the dump west of the Doran Bridge.
The Board instructed the Clerk to notify the isi chmond City Water
Works Co. to have the 'fire hydrant set back at South 9th & H St.
under the supervision of the City engineer.
On motion the the hour for the meeting of the Board of Works was
changed from 8:30 to 9 o' clock A.M.
The Board then adjourned.
