The ?3oard of Public Works:of the City .of Richmond, Indiana, met , in regular session at the office of the said Board, Monday, May 26 , 1919 , at 8 : 30 A.M. All the members of the said Board be- ;-i.ng •present Messrs.. Johnson, Taylor, and Peitz the following . proceedings were had to-wit: - . s . The minutes of the previous meeting were read .and approved. The Board unanimously adopted Declaratory Resolution #122-1919 fo.r the- vacation of the alley on the west side of North 8th St . . . running east and west between lots 53 & 54. Sarah Sander' s Add. The Board instructed the Engineer to get a tar kettle to be used - for Street .Repairing.. . . The Board granted the Engineer permission to employ George Pease in the Engineering Dept. at the salary of 05.00 per month. The Board instructed the City Atty. to get his information from the City Engineer and file an affidavit against Alfred Underhill , for digging in the alley in violation of the City Ordinance. • On moti on •of Mr. Peltz the Board granted W. N. Johnson permis- sion to build over the sewer which runs through his factory pro- .. perty. Mr. Peitz moved to allow the bill of R. J.
