Thursday, May 8 , 1919.
The. Board of, Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana , met
. in regular session at the office of the said Board, Thursday,
May 8, 1919 , at 8 :30 A.M. All the members of the said Board
- being present Messrs . Johnson, Taylor, and. Peltz, the Following
proceedings were had to-wit: -
Minutes of the previous meeting read and were approved..
The Clerk presented to the Board the various complaints fromI/
- Council Monday , May 5th, and the Board instructed the Clerk to
notify the property owners at. #230 South 7th St.. to have their
curb & gutter repaired, and the owners at #411 West Main Street
to have their sidewalk it-paired or the City will do so at their
- expense. Also to notify the Street Car Co. to make necessary
repairs at the 8th & Main St. intersection, under the super-
vision of the City Engineer.
The City Civil Engineer reported the completion of the contract
under Improvement Resolution 559-1919. Mr. Peltz moved that it
be accepted and the Clerk ordered to prepare the assessment- roll.
Seconded by Mr. Taylor so ordered.The Board instructed the City Engineer to order a Ten Thousand
( 10,000) Gallon car load of Tarvia.
The necessary repairs on driveway at No. 1 Hose •House were or-
dered to be made under the instruction of the Bldg. Inspector
by E. A. Mariani , contractor, as per his bid of Fifty-five ($55)
Dollars. .
The Board then adjourned.
