The Board ,of Public Works of the City of Richmond; India°ra, met in
Special Session in the office of the said Board , Monday, April 21,
1919, at 4:00 P.M, Two of the members of said Board being present
Messes. Taylor, and Peltz, absent Mr. Johnson, the following pro-
ceedings were . had to-wit :- .

The Board approved aid scigned the Contract and Bond of F. E. Slick,
. Contractor, for the collection and removal of ashes andsweepings
. in the City of Richmond, Indiana,
The Board then adjourned.

The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular, session at the office of the. said: Board, Thursday, April 24
1919 , at 6 : 30 A.M.- . Two members of the. said Board being present
Messrs. Taylor and Peltz , absent Mr._ John.son, the following proceed-
ings were had to-wit:-
Minutes of the previousmeeting read and were approved.
The Clerk presented to the Board the various complaints from the
Common Council of Monday, April 21, 1919 , these matters were referr-
• ed to the City Engineer, and St. Commissioner for. immediate action.

II The Board approved and signed the contract for the lease of lots 5
and 6 in the P. & F. Add. .at the corner of 17th and Main Streets,
from Elizabeth Jones, agent , for market purposes from June 1st , 1919
to June 1st, 1920 , for the sum of Fifty ( $60.00) Dollars.
_ The Board received a petition for the improvement of both sides of
North "A" St. from North 7th to North 16th St. providing for a ce-
ment sidewalk 7-k ft wide onboth sides of said street' except where
_ cement walks are already' laid in good condition between the points
named above, signed by Waldo. Lacey and six ( 6) others.
