Monday, April 7 , 1919 .
The, Board of Public 6aorks of the City of dtichmond , Indiana,, met
in regular session at the officeof the said Board , Monday, Apr . .
7th, 1919 , at 8 :30 A.M/ All .Members of the said Board .being -
present , Messrs. Johnson, Taylor, and .Peitz , the following pro-
ceedings were had to-wit : - -
Minutes of the previous meeting read and were approved.
The Board granted Tolbert Fox permission to garden South 16th
St . between H & J Streets. Also the Board grantedW. H. Taylor
permission to garden lot across 1st St . opposite 100 Pearl St.
The Board rented ground at the gravel site north of the City to
H. H. Nickens for garden purpose for the season of 1919 for the
sum of :4>.20.00.
The Board instructed the City Engineer to scarify and roll 15th
St . from North "A" to South "A" , also to repair South "B" from
6th to 8th , and North End from A to B St.
Mr. Johnson moved thatthe City Controller ask the Council for.
'an appropriation of Four-thousand 04 ,000.00 ) B o11 ars to build
dam at the Light Plant . Seconded by Mr. Peitz.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement icesoluti on No. 562 -
- 19195 providing for the improvement of alley between South 13th
and 14th Streetsfrom the first alley south of 'Main St . running
east and west to South A St . by constructing a cement roadway
in said alley the full width thereof.

The Board approved the various payrolls up to April 5, 1919 .
The Board then adjourned.
