The Board of Public- Works of the City of Richmond, Indi a_: a, met in
regular session at the office of the said Board , Thursday, March
27 , 1919 , at 8 : 30 A.M. Two members of the said Board being present
-Messrs . Taylor , and. Peltz , absent Mr. Johnson , the following pro-
, ceedings were had to-wit : - - -
Minutes of the previous meeting read and were approved.
-The Board instructed the engineer to have Harry Wood repair wiring
- at the house belonging to the City at North 10th St . Park.
The Board approved and signed contract and bond of Daniel G. Burk-
hardt , Contractor , under Improvement Resolution 559 - 1919 .
The Board unanimously adopted a resolution to let a contract for
collection removal , and disposal of ashes and sweepings in the City
of -Richmond , Indiana in accordance with the specifications on file
inthe office of the Board of Public Works , and instructed the Clerk
to advertise for bids.
The Board received a communication from 0. G. Murray notifying them
to repair sidewalk on Main Street in front of the Murray Theatre at
his expense .
The Board instructed the City Engineer to have the shed belonging tc
the St . Dert . at N. 2nd and Johnson Streets painted.
The Board instructed the Building Inspector to notify all propri-
ators of bill boards who have not paid their license fee to call at
the Controllers office and pay up their 1-i-o- Esc f-r-om--J- r.-Zit-,--1-9-1-8-
backlicense fees .
The Board then adjourned .
