The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana , met in regular session at the office of the said Board, Thursday , March 13, 1919 , at 8 :30. A•la' All members of the said Board be- ing present Messrs. Johnson, Taylor, and Peltz , the following proceedings were had to-wit : - Minutes of the rrevious meeting read and were approved. The Board granted George Bymaster permission to garden lot at the corner of West Main and 8th Streets for the season of 1919 . The Clerk presented the following communication: Board of Public Works , City. Gentlemen: We beg to advise 'Ton that on March 6th we set one hydrant on Gaar Road , about 800 feet east of North 19th Street , and on March lath one hydrant on Gaar Road about 1100 feet east of North 19th Street , as ordered by you on January 6th, 1919. Rental on above hydrants will begin on dates given above. We - are Yours truly, RICHMOidD• CITY WATRii WORKS. H. A. Dill • The letter from W. S. Whitney, G. P. & F. a. of the Ohio Electric Railway Company with enclosed copies of petitions filed with the Public service Commission of Indiana regarding increased pass- enger fares and freight rates within the State of Indiana was re- ferred to the City Atty . The Board received a communication from Mrs. Mary K. Mastin en- closing a communication she received from the Board of Works signed by W. 'N. Johnson, ordering her to make certain sewerage connections at -her property on N. 2nd St. On motion of Mr. Peltz the Clerk was instructed to return the letter written by Mr. W. N . Johnson to. Ohas. D. Shideler to Mary K. Mastin with a'.P. S. saying to comply with the enclosed instructions at-once-or the matter would be put in the hands of the City Atty.
