Monday , February 24 , 1919.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indi an_a , met in
regular session at the office of the said Board, Monday , February
24 , 1919 , at 8 :30 A.M. All members of the said Board being present
Messrs. Johnson, Taylor, and Peltz , the following proceedings were
had to-wit: -
l/ Minutes of the previous meeting read and were approved.
The Clerk read the following communication from the City Atty. re-
garding bills 'the City holds against Dr. George Perling,and Abraham
f Harsh for flushing sewers:
February 21st , 1919 .
Mr. William Stevens, City Clerk ,
Richmond, Indiana .
Dear Sir:
I return to you herewith statements of the City of Richmond
against Dr. George Ferling and Abraham Harsh, respectively, for
flushing sewers. I wrote to-day to both of them, telling them to
see the City Controller at once and pay these bills. If the bills
are not promptly paid please advise me and we will take it up again

Mr. Peltz moved that the City Engineer be instructed to notify Mr.
Snideler, Agent for the property of the Dugdale Estate to at once
proceed to tap the sewer on the West side of North 2nd St. and
that the cost for the two taps for two properties will be 40.00,
20.00 each the City' s charges, and that this action should be tak-
en at once in order to relieve the present conditions existing
there. Seconded by Mr. Taylor so ordered.
J. O. Willson' s bill of Jan . 31st , 1919 , was allowed and ordered
paid..
The Board instructed Mr. Dillon, Suit . of the Light Plant , to take
out proper liability insurance on the light plant motor cars.
The Board granted Frank Bloemer permission to use the bottom land
along the river between the Doran Bridge & Rai. lroad ,belongi.ng to
the City , for gardening purposes this year.
