Monday , February 10, 1919.
The Board of. Public nrks of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of the said Board , Monday, February
10th, 1919 , at 8 :30 A.M All members of the said Board being pre-
sent Messrs. Johnson, Taylor, and Peltz , the following proceedings
were had to-wit:- '
I/ Minutes of the previous meeting read and were approved.
The Board instructed Mr. Davis, City Engineer, to look after the
repairing of a hole in_ the sidewalk infront of 43 South 10th St. ,
also to look after the cause of water overflowing sidewalk at S.
• 15th and B Streets.
Mr. Omar Murray appeared before the Board in regard to the"Bill
Board Ord." The Board instructed the City Atty. to prepare an
ordinance to present to the Common Council amending the present
Bill Board Ord. by inserting specifications for the construction .
of bill boards, and also providing the authority to issue permits
for the building of same be transferred to the Mayor and Board of
Works instead of the Building Inspector.
The Mayor, W. W. Zimmerman , instructed the Clerk to put a legal
notice in the paper notifying bill posters and proprietors of bill
' _boards to take out license for same as the ordinance covering this
matter will be enforced.
The Board did then adjourn.
