Gaar Road, under supervision of Fire Chief and City Engineer, and that the Clerk notify The Richmond City Water Works Company. Seconded by Mr. Taylor, so ordered. Mr. Hollarn informed the Board that the Chataugua Association had not filed any report for the 1918 Chataugua. The Board instructed the Clerk to notify the Chataugua Associa- tion to file their report. Bills to the amount of $6,403.89 were allowed and ordered paid. The Board approved the various pay rolls up to January lst 1919. The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana , met in regular session at the office of the said Board, Thurs- day, January 9th. 1919, at 9 ;00 A. M. Two memebers of the Board being present . Messrs. Johnson and Peltz. Mr. Taylor being absent , the following proceedings were had to wit; - Minutes of the previous meeting read and approved. Mr. iavis, the City Civil Engineer, brought up the subject of piping steam from the M. E. L. &. P. Plant to the storage oil tank and old light plant building. Mr. Peltz moved that the City Engineer take up with the Supt . of the M.E.L. & P. Plant and make the necessary connections from the M.E.L. & P. Plant to the oil storage tank and the old light plant building. Sec. by Mr. Johnson, so ordered. Mr. Harry Wessel complained to the Board that Mr. Henry Deuker of #112 Ft . Warne Avenue , did not have his garbage can a.access- able to the garbage collectors. 266 Thursday, January 9th. 1919 . The Board instructed the Clerk to notify Mr. Deuker to have his • garbage can placed in a more accessible place. The Board instructed the Clerk to notify Mr. John Sittloh to appear before the Board at 8 ;30 A. M. Friday, January 10th . 1919 . Mr. Peitz moved that the Board of Public Works , of the City of Richmond, Indiana, change their meeting hour from 9 ;00 A. M. toI/ 8: 30 A. M. Seconded by Mr. Johnson, So ordered. All members of the said Board being present Messrs. :Johnson, Taylor and Peltz , the following proceedings were had to-wit : Minutes of the previous meeting read and were approved . The clerk read the following communication: January 10, 1919 Mr. William Stephens, City Clerk City Building, Richmond Ind. Dear Sir : We have your communication of January 6th calling atten- tion to a report from the Chautauqua Association. This has been delayed on account of late bills and a question of war tax on admissions being settled.
