The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana met in regular session at the office of the said Board, Monday December 30th. 1918 at 9 :00 A. M. All members of said Board being present. Messrs. . Johnson, Peltz and Taylor the following proceedings were had to-wit : The minutes of the previous meeting read and approved. Mr. Peltz moved that the bill of Joseph T. Gist for $172.90 for gravel furnished the Street Department be allowedand ordered paid. Seconded by Taylor, so ordered. The Board instructed Street Commissioner to place Mr. Goins in the alleys with team to gather ashes, when he had no other work. Mr. D. M. White made a complaint to the Board, that the dirt washed on the s.id_e walk in frontof lot #14 on John street , of the J. F. McCarthy addition. Mr. Peltz moved that the police department notify the J. F. McCarthy estate to have the above said side walk cleaned, Seconded by Taylor, so ordered. The Board instructed. the City Engineer to place signs pro- hibiting dumping on South 14th. and 15th. streets south of E. Street . Mr. Peitz moved that the bill of Classie Kendall amounting to .'; 16.30 for the boarding of prisioners be allowed and paid. Seconded by Mr. Taylor, so ordered .
