Mayer Latta opened the meeting at 5:03 p.m. for the purpose o£ acting upon a
lease agreement with American Cable.
Roll call was taken. J. Peterson and J. Bootz were absent.
W. Sharp stated on the lease agreement, there is a correction in the second
paragraph, "located on Mills Street" should be, "1400 D~.yision Street"; (fifth.
paragraph) "SECOND, This Identure is non-exclusive" a sentence has been added,
"Provided that no such grant, license or lease shall result in any conflicting
use or interference w~.th Licensee's use of the premises hereunder", this
meaning is we can rent out space, but we cannot interfere with. their tower.
(Page 2) "1'TETH", previously stated, "30 day cancellation notice on either
part, was deleted. This lease is for the duration of the franchise 15 years
at $125.00 per month for ereceing a cable tower at the northwest area of the
parking lot at rear of Village Hall.
W. Sharp moved to authorize the Mayor to sign the lease agreement with American
Cable effective June 27, 1986 as presented, at $125.00 per month, to run for
the term of franchise agreement (15 years). Seconded by D. Gv.llicksen. Vote
by roll call. Sharp, yes; Dement, yes; Callanan, yes; Gullicksen, yes.

W. Sharp moved to adjourn. Seconded by J. Dement. Vo~.ce vote. 4 yes, 0 no.
Motion carried.
