Mr. Peltz -moved .tho resignation of Dr. Davis be accepted , and
appointment of Dr. Kinsey approved. Seconded by Mr. Taylor so
ordered.
The Board instructed the Engineer to have North-west ;2nd St.
graveled from Richmond Avenue to Lincoln St. , also South .H St.
between 8th & 9th Streets. -
Bills to the amount of $8,806.30 were allowed and ordered paid.

The Board .of Public Works of -the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office, of said Board, Thursday , Dec .
26 ,. 1918 , at 9 :00 A.M. All members' of said Board being pre-
sent Messrs. Johnson, Taylor, and Peitz , the following pro-
ceedings were had , to-wit: - - • .

The minutes of the previous meeting read and were -approved..
The Board instructed the City Engineer to look after the bump
in the roadway on Bridge Avenue , also the railing, and approach-
es to the Main Street temporary bridge.
- Mr. Taylor informed the Board that Mrs . Kate Pickens had com-
plained that the contractor had thrown a lot of rocks on a
vacant lot of hers at the north-east corner of South-west A
and West 10th Streets , she would like to have the same removed.
The Mayor and City Engineer decided to look into this matter .
The City Engineer informed the -Board that he had received a
letter from George 114 Fife of Noblesville, Indiana, in regard
to a stone crusher. Mr. Peitz moved that the Board of Works
and City Engineer as representatives of thb City gb: and in-
spect this crusher. Seconded by Mr. Taylor so ordered.
On motion the Board decided to take a recess until 11.30 A.M.

In Pursuance to the Board taking a recess until 11.30 A.M. , the
Board on motion decided to ask the Mayor to call a Special Session
of the Common Council . for the purpose of taking up "the matter of
making a Bond Issue for the purchase of the gravel pit of Mr. Gist.
The Board did then adjourn.
