The Board instructed the City Engineer to repair Inlet on South 8th near South "E" Street , also have the Street C9mmissioner gather up leaves on South 14th 'between "A"and "B"Streets. The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board, Thursday, Nov. 21, 1918, at 9 :00 A.M. All members of said Board being present . Messrs. Johnson, Taylor, and Peltz, the following proceedings were had, to-wit: - The minutes of the previous meeting read and were approved. Mr. Dillon, Supt. of the Light Plant , reported the sale of. 635 pounds Scrap Copper to the Empire Brass Foundry at g .23V per pound, total 0.46.05. The Board instructed the City Engineer topartition off the room for the St. Dept. repair shop at the old light plant so as to be more easily heated. Mr. Davis brought up the matter before the Board in regard to placing a Boom Derrick at the Light Plant to handle the unload- ing of coal. The Board instructed the Engineer to get plans ready and prices on said derrick. . Bills to the amount of $ 5,742.12 were allowed and ordered paid.
