The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board, Thursday, November 14, 1918, at 9 :00 A.M. All members of said Board be- ing present Messrs. Johnson, Taylor, and Peltz, the following proceedings were had, to-wit :- The minutes of the previous meeting read and were approved. • The Starr Piano Company petitioned the Board to order an arc light placed on South 1st street on that part of said street leading South from the main office building. The Board refered t this matter to the Supertindent of the Light Plant for investi- gation and to be refered back to the Board. George Graef, on School Street , Rural Route A, appeared before the - Board in regard to attaching a one-horse motor on the Light Line , saying that the neighbors have complained that it cut down their current. Mr. Graef stated that he had the line tested out and the test showed 95 volts at the minimum. This matter was refered to the Superintendent of the Light Plant for in- vestigation. Mr. Davis , the city Engineer, presented to the Board plans for putting in a pit and switch track at the Light Plant. The Board instructed the City Engineer to see whether the tele- phone pole , between North 20th and 21st ;street and North A and B Street , stood in the alley. The Board did then adjourn.
