The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board, Monday, November 11, 1918. at 9 :00 A.M. Messrs. Johnson, and Peitz being present, absent Mr. Taylor, the following proceedings were had, to-wit:- The, minutes of the previous meeting read and were approved. On motion of Mr. Peitz that on account of the celebration of the signing of the Armistice the Board adjourned to meet Tuesday, Nov. 12, 1918 , at 9 :00 A.M. The Board did then adjourn. All members of said Board being present Messrs. Johnson, Taylor, rand Peltz, the following proceedings were had, to- wit:- - The minutes of the previous meeting read and were approved. The Board received bid on steam road roller for the St. Dept. as follows, to-wit:- James E. McNamara Construction Co. , Indianapolis, Indiana --- Bid One (1) Steam Road Roller not- less than 10 tons with scarifier at- tached $2,000.00 No other bids being received Mr. Peltz moved that the bid of James --E. McNamara Construction Company be accepted and the -contract award ed. Seconded by Mr. Taylor so ordered. Mr. Davis, City Engineer , brought up the matter in regard to settini of- cement corner posts on the property lines of the City of Richmom Mr. Peltz moved that the City Engineer be instructed to carry out h his proposed plans in tegard to setting said posts. Seconded by Mr Taylor so ordered. Mr. Taylor informed the Board that Mr. Gist would like to have the matter in regard to the purchase of his gravel pit settled as soon as possible. The Board referred this matter to the City Attorney t present to Coundil.
