MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT: Mayor Latta, Ti. Gullicksen, J. Bootz, J. Dement,
W. Sharp, K. Callanan. J. Peterson was absent.
OTHERS PRESENT: J. West -- Village Administrator.
V. Krnac - Village Clerk.
Attorney - J. Harvey.
Mayor Latta opened the meeting at $:00 p.m. with the pledge to the flag.
Ro11 ca11 was taken, J. Peterson was absent.
FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING P'U$LIC HEARING
Mayor Latta turned the hearing over to J. Bootz.
J. Bootz reported the distribut~.on of our Federal Revenue Sharing Funds:
Village Hall Payment $12,850.00
Spring Clean-up 1,200.00
Senior Services Center 1,200.00
Easter Seals 800.00
HEMATS 1,000.00
Will County Nutrition 'p'rogram 1,000.00
Estimate of Reserves 9,050.00
Total FRS Funds Anticipated $27,100.00
in FY 85/86
Federal Revenue Sharing Entitlement Period 17 starts in October, but it is
not guaranteed by the Federal Government that we will receive anything. The
position we are. in, we are giving the Village Ha11 Payment our first priority
and all the other amounts listed will be paid on a quarterly basa.s depending
on the funding we receive. We will pay the same month, the money l.s received.
We estimate the first funds (if we receive any) should be in January then in
April, July and October 1986, We have received a letter stating the federal
Government will notify us in October if we will receive FRS Funds. No
questions from Board or audience.
J. Bootz moved to approve the Federal Revenue Sharing Distribution. Seconded
by W. Sharp. Vote by roll call. Gullicksen, yes; Bootz, yes; Dement, yes;
Sharp, yes; Callanan, yes. 5 yes, 0 no. Motion declared carried.
W. Sharp moved to close the Federal. Revenue Sharing Hearing, Seconded by
J. Bootz. Voice vote. 5 yes, 0 no. Motion declared carried.

J. Baotz reported from the Tax Levy we are expecting to receive $3$2,400.00;
from other sources we expect to recea.ve $2,108,725.00. A small amount is
coming from the tax levy. No questians from Board or audience.
J. $oatz reported the Village Board will vote on the Appropriation and then
the Tax Levy. at our August 19, 1985 meeting and the proposed Tax Levy and
Appropriation are available far Public Review at .the Village Hall during
normal office hours until August 19, 1985.
J. Bootz moved to class the Appropriation Hearing for the Village of Plainfield.
- Seconded by W. Sharp. Voice vote. 5 yes, 0 no. Motion declared carried.
