Monday, September 23, 1918 .
The Board of Public Works of the City of HHichmond , Indiana ,
-met in regular session at the office of said Board , Monday,
September 23 , 1918 , at 9 :00 A.M. All members of said Board
being present , Messers . Johnson, Pelts and Taylor. The fol-
lowing proceedings were had , to-wit :
1/. The minutes of the previous meeting read and Tere approved .
The Board directed the Finance Dept . to pay the following
contractors the 5% reserve retained on the following im-
provements:
I . E. Smith , Resolution_ No. 543-1917
Hans W. ivagrier ,, 9i 11 542-1917 19 . 50
Mr. Sittloh, Street Commissioner , brought the matter before
the Board in regard to the payment for the cutting of weeds
on the North 10th St . dump. Mr. Pelts moved that the Clerk w
write to Dr. Davis , Health Officer , instructing him to con-
fer with Street Commissioner on this matter . Seconded by
Mr. Taylor so ordered .
The Board approved various payrolls up to and including
September 21 , 1918.
Claims for the amount of 0 ,173. 30 were allowed and or-
dered paid .
The Board did then adjourn.
