Monday, September 16 , 1918 .
The Board of Public Works of the City of 'Richmond , Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board, Ronday,
September 16 , 1918 , at 9 :00 A.M. Two of the members of said
Board being present , Messers Taylor and Peitz , absent
Mr. Johnson. The following proceedings were had , to
-wit :_

The minutes of the previous meeting read and were approved.
Board approved the Primary Assessment Roll in matter of con-
structing sanitary sewer in the alley between north-west 2nd
and LIunt Streets from sewer in vacated State Street north
258 .3 feet under Tmprovement Resolution Number 553-1918 .
Mr. Davis , City Engineer, put the matter before the Board •
in regard to sweeping Main Street Sunday mornings . Mr. Peitz
moved that the Street Commissioner have Main Street and the
hitching racks swept early Sunday morning, allowing a half-
days pay for same. Seconded by Mr . Taylor so ordered.
The Board meets to hear all persons interested in or who' s
property is affected by the vacation of Smith Street from west
side of South 2nd Street to the east line of the Hight of tray
of the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway Company under Declaratory
Resolution No. 121 - 1918 . Mr. Peitz moved as Mr. Johnson,
President of the Board was absent the hear n - r-e contirmed-.-to_.._._._

Mr. Taylor so ordered.
The Board then adjourned.
