Monday, September 9 , 1918 .
The Board of Public Vvorks of the City of i chmond , Ind:iana,
met in regular session at the office of said yoard , MondaT ,
September ,9,1 `J18 , at 9 :00.A. Y. All of the members of said
Board being present , Messrs. Johnson, Taylor and Peitz. The
following proceedings were had , to-wit : -

The minutes of th- previous meeting read and were approved.
The Clerk presented to the Board the Bond of the Hatfield
Electric Co. of Indianapolis , Indiana , for the installation
of Boilers and stokers for the Municipal E1ectri c Lighting
and Power Plant of the Oity of =tichmond, Indiana . The Bond
was referred to the City Attorney.
The Board took up the bill of the Health Department , debtor
to the Municipal electric Lighting & Power Plant , to the
amount of 29 . 65 ,p for wiring at the Detention Hospital . The
bill was allowed and. ordered paid . •
The Board instructed ;Mr. Dillon of the Light Plant to pur-
chase two ( 2 ) dozen Arch Lights.
• Mr. Dillon, Sup' t . of the ' Light Plant asked, the. :Board in re-
gard to the purchase of .slectric light globes . Mr. Johnson
moved that a purchase .agreement be entered into between Harry
Wood and the Municipal . lectri c Lighting and Power Plant
for electric bulbs , for one (1 ) year. Seconded by Mr. Peitz .
The Board. instructed Mr. uavis ,City ngineer , to have South
7th Street from Main street to South " i" Street , scarified
• and rolled .
Mr. Dillon asked the Board in regard to the purchase of light
standards for. the North 12th Street Bridge . The Board inst-
ructed Mr . Dillon to get prices of Standards . The Board also
decided to go with Mr. Dillon, Sup' t . of the Light Plant , and
Mr. Davis City Engineer, to investigate in regard to placing
these standards.
The Board then adjourned .
