M. Two of the members of said Board being present , Messrs. Johnson and' Peltz . , absent Mr. Taylor . The following proceedings were had , to-wit : - The minutes of the previous meeting read and were approved. The Board received an invitation for the City Officials to ' at- tend the dedication of the Preble County Court House at Eaton, Ohio, on Tuesday, September 10 , 1918.. The Clerk presented the complaints made at the Council Meeting of September 3, 1918 , to the Board . The Board referred the matter of Lights on the North 12th Street Bridge tc Sup' t Dillon. of the Light Plant . The matter of the drinking fountain at North 18th & "C" Street , the Board decided to investigate further before tak- ing any action. In the matter of the complaint of Mr. Evans in regard to cinders being placed in the alley at the Interurban Station, the Board instructed 'the Clerk to notify the Traction Co . that cinders may be obtained at the Light Plant and to have this place nut in gocd repair . 222 Thursday, September 5 , 1918 The Board instructed ?sir. Goins to get his wagon in shape so as to take over Mr. Brown' s place on the Street Department and for him to report to Hr . Davis , City i ngineer. The Board received a report of ac:praisement made by appraisers appointed to appraise in the matter of Direct Current Machinery of the Light Plant. Mr. Harry Wessel appeared before the Board in the matter of the Garban'e Ordinance . Mr. Peitz moved that the Health Officer be instructed to have cards printed in .regard to the Garbage Ord- inance to be tacked -up for the benefit of the public as well as the collectors . Seconded by Mr. Johnson. The Board decided to instruct all Department Heads that any re- pairs they had to make to take them to the Utility Man at the old Light Plant. Bills to the amount of w4,844 .00were allowed and ordered paid . The Board approved the various payrolls up to and including August 31 , 1918. The Board then adjourned.
