Monday, August 19 , 1918
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board, I+ITon_dag,
August 19 , 1918 , at 9 :00 A. M. All of the members of said
Board being present , Messrs. Johnson, Taylor and Peltz.
The following proceedings were had , to-wit : -
.'The .minutes of the previous meeting read and were approved.
The Board approved the final assessment roll under Improve-
ment Resolution No . 549-1918 for constructing a Storm Water
Sewer in North 7th Street from North "A" to North "D" Street
and directed the same , to be transmitted. to the department of
finance.

The Board unanimously adopted Declaratory Resolution No.121-
1918 , providing for the vacation of Smith Street from South
2d Street to the East line of the Right of Way of the C &: _0
Railway do .
Dr. Davis, Health Officer, appeared before the Board in re-
gard to cutting weeds and asked the Board if they wwould auth-
orize him to cut weeds after serving notice. sir. Pelts moved
that the Health Department should have the weeds cut in the
north part of the city, in the location of the Camp and the
Reid Memorial ' Hospital. Seconded by Mr. Taylor, so ordered.
1'olger P. Wilson appeared before the Board and requested
them to have North "G" Street graveled. from 16th Street east
Mr. Peltz moved that this matter be referred to the City
Engineer. Seconded by Mr. Taylor.
The Board instructed the Building Inspector , Mr. Pinnick, to
have new awnings put up in the Clerk' s room.
The Board then adjourned.
