CONTINUATION OF APRIL 4, 1988 BOARD MEETING

At 7:00 p.m. Mayor Latta opened the meeting with the pledge to the
flag.
Roll call was taken, L. Ke1.1y was absent.
Administrator Pusinelli reported we conducted a public "bid opening"
at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 11, 1988 for our Sanitary Sewer Man-
• hole Rehabilitation Project. The results of the bid opening:
JoMar Telegrouting, Inc., Joliet, IL $36,950.00
KTM Construction Co., East Hazelcrest, IL $48,717.00
National Power Rodding Corp., Chicago, IL $55,005.00
Staff recommends that the bid for this project be awarded to JoMar
Telegrouting of Joliet, Illinois in the amount of $36,950.00. Staff
further recommends that the costs for this project be charged to
Sewer Department Accounts No. 02-1125-833 and 02-1127-833, D.
Gullicksen questioned the amount of infiltration this project will
take care of? Administrator Pusinelli stated per the research that
has been done, approximately 208,000 gallons of waste water flow
per day. There are 86 manholes to be repaired.
D. Gullicksen moved to award the bid for the manhole project to
JoMar Telegrouting, Inc., Joliet, IL in the amount of $36,950.00.
Seconded by K. Callanan. Vote by roll call. Lewin, yes; Gullicksen,
yes; Callanan, yes; Dement, yes; Bootz, yes. 5 yes, 0 no. Motion
carried.
H. Countryman reported that through the "leak survey" (A.T.S,) that
was done, they pin-pointed a leak at Ottawa and Dillman Street and
we found a 4" watermain broke in half. The water was running into
the sanitary sewer and also the storm sewer. This will cut down on
the water usage and sewer consumption. This survey is proving to
be beneficial.

D. Gullicksen moved to adjourn into Executive Session on land
acqua~sition, to reconvene. Seconded by J. Bootz. Voice vote.

Mayor Latta reconvened the meeting. Due to no further business to
be discussed this evening, J. Bootz moved to adjourn. Seconded by
D. Gullicksen. VOi.Ce vote. 5 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
