of traffice on the island, Council decided to allow Mr Dowling to
place some of the signs at different points.
The nfollwing committee was appointed to take up with the Savh Elect
0) the matter od electric service to the island; Messrs Cann,
Walthour ,and Farr.
There being no further business Council adjourn subject to the

The regular meeting of Town Council was held to-day and was attenddd
by the Mayor and Councilmen Logan Espy,Horovitz and also by the
Messrs Collat representing the Evinrude Motor t' .
Mr Collat said that knowing that the heavy rains of late had caused
considerable tater to accumulate on different sections of the is-

areas,eot.,he would like to give a demonstration of this outfit
so it was decided that Mr Collat would have his apparatus on the
island in the vicinity of 17th street Sunday August 8th about
5 p.m.
The question of disposing of the buildings formerly used by the
military °encampment was brought up and it was decided they be ad-
advertised and the Clerk of Council was instructed to advertised
for bids on same.
Mr. Logan called attention to .Cou mil of bad condition of the
asphalt paving jon some places caused by the sands being blown
from under the flundation,he said that sand should be filled in
on both sides of the street where needed.
There being nu further business Council adjourned subject to the
call of the Mayor.
