The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday October
let, 1.i14, at 9 O'clock A. Me All the mentere of said Board be-
ing present, Liessrs, Bavis, Marlatt and McMinn. The fol'ov�ing
proceedings were had, to -wit: -
The Clerk received communication from G.K.Jeffriee, General
Sup't., of T. He I. & Be Traction Co., notifying the City that
they will complete the extension of their street railway lines
in South 8th St, this; fall, in accordance vdith srrangements
made with city of:icials,
The City Civil Engineer, reported the completion of contract
under Improvement Resolution No. 410-1914, for the construction
of cement sidewalk on east side of North 12th Street, from "G"
Street to River, the same was accepted and assessment roil
ordered.
The Board direct the Finance Department to pay the reserves due
to contractors named which are due, as follows, to-rit:-
Sidewalk S."D" St. 13th to 14th St. 5o reserve due, y`10.54
Sidewalk both sides 11.15th St."B" to "C" St. :i;, y22,06
Sidewalk N."D" St. 13th to 14th St, 5;o reserve due 9'10.12

John F. Hipskind, 5 reserve due on Sewer between State and
John Streets, amount, $212.45.
The Boaru received bids for changing plumbing at North loth St.
Park property as follows, to -wit: -
Craighead Plumbing Electric Co., bid, $51.00, complete.
Chas. W. Roland, bid; �55.00 complete.
The Craighead Plumbing & Electric Co., being the lowest, thF
contract was so awarded.
A petition was presented, for the vacation of the first alley
east of hest let Street, from Laurel St, to alley let north of
Laurel Street, taken under advisment for investigation.
The Board received contracts & agreements, in the matter of
South 19th Street improvement under resolution no•4.6-19149
the Board on motion refuse to sign the same and postpone action
thereon.
The Board having vi been advised that J.H.Menke, desired to purchase
ground on east side of Sheridan St. north of Doran bridge, or.ned
by City. Clerk directed to notify him ground is not for sale.
