Street bridge* The Board did then adjourn, re si en oe ' Office of Board of Pub - City of Richmond, Thursday November 5t}:, The Board of Public Worke of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday November 5th, 1914, at 9 O'clock A. i.:. All the members of said Board being present, Messrs. Bevis, Marlatt & Yck'inn. The following proceedings were had, to -wit: - A petition rms presented signed by 5 property owners, praying that an extensi on of private water line be made from a point where said line crosses the alley between Sheridan & Butler Street, north to School Street• The Board instructed the Clerk to notify the Richmond City ;later Works, to make said extension for users of water along said extension, or ehow reasons why? the same should not be laid. The City Civil Engineer, reported the completion of contract under Improvement Resolution No. 426-1914, for the improvement of South 19th Street From South "B" Street to Reeveston Road, by constructing cement sidewalks, curb, gutters, roadway, park- ways, conduits for telephone & light wires and the installation of ornamental light poles, The Board accepts the same and order assessment roll prepared. The Board received invitation of the South Side Improvement Asen• to ride to Beallview Park on Sunday next to view the new street car station and ride on extension of car lines, motion invitation was accepted• W* L. $ooth Sup't of C•& 0•Ry• Co., and others appeared cefore the Board, in the matter of constructing viaduct at foot of South "B" Street under the railroad, after some discussion be- tween the Board, Harry Gennett & Railroad officials, the C. & 0. Engineer was directed to prepare an estimate of the probable cost of said viaduct and report. The matter::of ihtYd washing onto sidewalks at reilroed bridge crossing South 5th Street, crossing planks at railroad & South 6th Street was reported to C• & 0. Ry• officials, t;r• Booth promised to attend to these matters and removq the cause for complaint. The pay -rolls of the various derttrtments for October, 1914 were ar-Proved, Claims to the amount of J9942.93, were allowed & ordered raid.
