At 2:00 p.m. Mayor Latta opened the meeting of the Canvass Board.
Village Clerk had roll call, all members of Canvass Board were
present. Also present was Jeff McKinney, Managing Editor of
The Enterprise newspaper.
Mayor Latta read the results of the votes for the General Election
of November 8, 19$8 Referendum for Question of Public Policy (shall
G.O. Bonds in amount of $2,325,000 be issued by the Village of
Plainfield far improvements of our water works and sewerage systems):

Members of the Canvass Board agreed the vote count was correct and
signed the Abstract. The Village Clerk will send copies of the
Abstract to the County Clerk and the State Board of Elections.
