D. LEWIN.
OTHERS PRESENT: M. PUSINELLI - ADMINISTRATOR
V. KRNAC - VILLAGE CLERK

At 7:00 p.m. Mayor Latta opened the meeting with the pledge to
the flag.
Roll call was taken, all members were present.
Mayor Latta appointed Randy Krnac as temporary Electrical
Inspector in the absence of Don Schmitz, for the period of
September 12th through September 18, 1988, with no objection from
the Board.
Administrator Pusinelli reported that Peterson Manufacturing is
installing a water service to a building they are constructing
on their property. They have a water service permit but they
have to go through Commonwealth Edison easement to get the water
service back to the building. Commonwealth Edison supplied us
with an agreement which must be signed by the Village and Peterson
Manufacturing before Commonwealth Edison will allow work to be
done on their easement. Attorney Harvey has no problem with the
Board authorizing the Mayor to sign this agreement, based an the
fact that Peterson Manufacturing has signed a "hold harmless"
agreeement and on page 12 of the agreement, the words eleventh
and fifteenth should be removed from lines 4 and 5, should read
"covenants of this agreement except Paragraph twenty".
K. Callanan moved to authorize the Village President to sign and
Village Clerk to attest to the agreement between Commonwealth
Edison and the Village of Plainfield concerning Peterson
Manufacturing water line. Seconded by D. Gullicksen. Vote by
roll call. Callanan, yes; Dement, yes; Bootz, yes; Gullicksen,
yes; Kelly, yes; Lewin, yes. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
Mayor Latta directed the Clerk to have the agreement recorded
at the County.
