Renee and Trey, I was reviewing my internal records for the Stop Dirty Government Transcripts of Trial and I noticed I
did not have the October 18, 2019 second day fee-hearing transcript. I searched the Town’s websites since I thought I
asked for it before but I could not find it. Under Chapter 119, I would like to get the PDF or electronic copy of the
October 18, 2019 Transcript for Case 2014-CA-003721. I would think Mr. Sweetapple or Joanne would probably have
the best knowledge of its location (assuming it was ordered).
Anyways, let me know.
Just email me back here, please copy my paralegal so we can drop it right in our files.
P.S. I am copying Joanne because I think she is counsel of record in that matter. Although I am statutorily required to
ask the custodians, I don’t want the impression of impropriety.
Thank you kindly.

·4· · · · · · ·(Excerpt 1.)
·5· · · · · · ·MS. JAMES:· Would you like for us to submit
·6· · · · closing arguments in writing or give proposed
·7· · · · orders?
·8· · · · · · ·THE COURT:· You can -- oftentimes, what
·9· · · · parties would like to do instead of submitting
10· · · · written closing arguments is just submit proposed
11· · · · orders setting forth the facts you believe the
12· · · · evidence has shown, how -- you know, if there's any
13· · · · law I need to apply to those facts and the relief
14· · · · you think you're entitled to.· I mean that's what a
15· · · · lot of parties do when we run out of time and
16· · · · there's no time for closing arguments.
17· · · · · · ·(Excerpt 1 concluded.)
18· · · · · · · · · · · · · * * * * *
19· · · · · · ·(Excerpt 2.)
20· · · · · · ·THE COURT:· Mr. Reeder, I'll be happy if you
21· · · · want to submit a response to the motion.· I'll give
22· · · · you five days to submit a response, but -- and I
23· · · · really don't think five minutes of closing argument
24· · · · is going to be that helpful.· I understand fully
25· · · · what each party's respective positions are with
Page 4
·1· ·regard to the application for attorney's fees.
·2· · · · If you'd like to submit written closing
·3· ·arguments, feel free to, but I will read the
·4· ·deposition of Mr. Rivas.· I understand what your
·5· ·position is.· If you feel like you need to file a
·6· ·written response to the motion in limine, I'll
·7· ·allow it, but I'll read everything carefully.
·8· · · · MR. REEDER:· When would Your Honor like that
·9· ·response?
10· · · · MS. JAMES:· Five days.
11· · · · THE COURT:· Within five days.
12· · · · MR. REEDER:· That'll be fine.· Thank you, Your
13· ·Honor.
14· · · · THE COURT:· Thank you.
15· · · · MS. JAMES:· Five working days or five
16· ·days-days?
17· · · · THE COURT:· Working days.
18· · · · MS. JAMES:· Okay.· Thank you, Your Honor.
19· · · · THE COURT:· Thank you.
20· · · · MS. JAMES:· Thank you for your time.
21· · · · THE COURT:· Anything else?
22· · · · MS. JAMES:· No.
23· · · · THE COURT:· All right.
