CONTINUED MEETING OF APRIL 16, 1990

At 7:00 p.m. Mayor Latta opened the meeting.
W. Sharp moved to approve the minutes of March 19, 1990.
Seconded by J. Gaylord. Voice vote. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion
carried.
W. Sharp moved to adjourn into Executive Session on land
acquisition and employee salaries classification, to reconvene.
Seconded by D. Lewin.' Voice vote. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.

~d. L. Kelly moved to authorize the Village to purchase property
(approximately"~ acres) from Shirley and Robert Hintzsche and
Frank and Jean Seneca in the amount of $76,090.00 and authorize
the Mayor and Village Clerk to execute the agreement. Seconded
~y D. Gullicksen. Vote by roll call. Lewin, yes; Gaylord, yes;
Gullicksen, yes; Sharp, yes; Kelly, yes; Dement, yes. 6 yes, 0
no. Motion carried.
L. Kelly moved to waive the bidding process and authorize Layne-
Western to drill, construct and test a limestone well for the
Village of Plainfield, in the amount of $51,42$.00 as identified
in their April 13, 1990 correspondence. Seconded by D.
Gullicksen. Vote by roll call. Lewin, yes; Gaylord, yes;
Gullicksen, yes; Sharp, yes; Kelly, yes; Dement, yes. 6 yes, 0
no. Motion carried.

L. Kelly moved the Village will discontinue efforts to address
the Normantown Drain Project and re-allocate funding to the
County. Seconded by J. Gaylord. Vote by roll call. Lewin, yes;
Gaylord, yes; Gullicksen, yes; Sharp, yes; Kelly, yes; Dement,
yes. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
