Mayor Latta opened 'the Public Hearing at 7:00 p.m.
Roll call was taken, D. Gullicksen was absent.
Planner Waldock explained this Public Hearing is for the purpose
of an amendment to the Annexation Agreement (entered into August
7, 1989) for the Panagiotaros/Pappas property - 100 South Joliet
Road. The provisions in this amendment are: 1) the property
owners are no longer required to extend the 10" watermain from
Robert Avenue to Route 30; 2) will provide appropriate easements
so the Village at a later date can extend watermains to the
property; 3) the owners will pay for the cost of construction of
the watermain extension from Robert Avenue to the west property
line of the site and the cost will be payable to the Village
within one (1) year of the finished construction; 4) any future
extension of the water/sewer will be at the expense of the
Village; 5) the owners will be willing to tap-on to the Village
sanitary sewer, no later than one (1) year after the sewer line
is adjacent to the property; 6) the owners are willing to pay all
tap-on fees at the time of tappingWon to water/sewer lines; 7)
owners shall complete the site plan review process and will pay
all building permit fees, prior to publication for bids on the
watermain extension; and 8) previous Annexation Agreement is
amended.
J. Dement questioned what was the cost estimate far the water
extension? Planner Waldock stated it was $7,000.
Mayor Latta questioned if the Board agreed the Village is willing
to do this project and the Village will not charge interest for
one (1) full year, but it's payable in one (1) year. The Board
agreed.

L. Kelly moved to adjourn the Public Hearing. Seconded by W.
Sharp. Voice vote. 5 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
