The Board of l Llic NorY_s of the City of Richmond. Indiana,
met in regular Seoul on at the office of said Board Monday
January llth, 1914, at 9 o'clock A• L'• All the members of
Bald Board being present, Messrs. Davis, liarlatt & McMinn•
The following proceedings were had, to -wit t-
The City Attorney was directed to draw dp contract with
Otto Rettig, of Ice Comparrj, in the matter of City dumping
Into old pond near the bridge on North 12th Street, t%e said
iiettlg having verbally agreed to pay the City the sum of �2oo.00
to fill same.
The Mayor N. J. Robbins, requested the Board to take upend in-
vestigate the proposition of insurance on public Lc'ldings &
especially the light plant.
The Board meets to hear all persons interested or affected by
the improvement of South "D" Street, from South 15th to 16th
Street, by grading, graveling the roadway, and constructing
cement sidewalks, curb & ghtters on both sides of street, as
provided for by Improvement Resolution No. 4:9�1914. After hear-
ing all persons interested who appeared, and being duly advised
in the premises, The Board decides that the benefits to proper-
ty liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to
the cost of same as estimated by the City Civil Engineer and
thereupon takes final action on same, the said resolution be-
ing confirmed without modification.
The Boars, meets to hear all persons interested or whose proper-
ty is affected by the improvement of North "J" Street, by con-
structing cement sidewalk 6' wide on north side of street,from
North 14th t 16th Street, as provided for b:r Improvement Reso-
lution IIo. 4 -1914, After hearing all persons interested who
