Upon the recommendation of the Liayor, the Board directed the
City Civil Engineer, to prepare plane, specifications etc,,
for paving the follovdng named streets, to-wit:-
5th St, from South "A" to Ft-aayne Ave; thence doom Ft -myna

The Hoard of Publio Works of the City of i:ichmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board, L'onday
January 25th, 1915, at 9 0 olock A. Y. All the oembers of
said Board Lei ng present, viz; Messrs, Bevis, ftarlatt and
MoMinn. The following proceedings were had, to -wit: -
A petition was presented for the construction of cement side-
walks, curb & gutters on both aides of ,iillism Street, fror
Northwest fnd street to ",eat and of laid Williams street rc
£erred to the City Civil Engineer.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement '-esolution No. 4Zr,-
1915, for the improvement of 9th Street, from South "A" St.
to North "I" Street, by raving the roadway with one of the
kind of modern city pavements to -wit:- Concrete, Brick, Asperl.,
Creosoted wooden block, Also the construction of no" sewer in
North 9th St, running from the present 20" sewer at North 9th
& "A" Street south to :lain street.
The Boarunanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 440-
19159 for the improvement of North 16th Street, from Lein to
North "c"' Street, by paving the roadway with one of the kind
of modern ci ty pavements to -wit:- Concrete, Brick, Asphalt,
Creosoted wooden Block.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No, 441-
1915 , For the improvement of North "A" Street, By Saving the
roadway wi th one of the kind of modern pavements to -wit: Con-
crete, Brick., Asphatt, Creosoted Wooden Block, from North 5th
to North Ifth Street.
In the matter of Paving South 7th St, from Nain to South "A" Si.
the Board tare same under advisement, pending matter of sewer
in said street.
The City Engineer, was instructed to furnish an eat imate of
the amount work completed on contract of F, is. Slick, under
Improvement Resolution Noe 403-1914•
p remonstrance against the construction of cement club & butter
on both sides of South 13th St from South "E" to "H" Street,
having beon filed on Jan. 21st, 1915, the uncertainty of per-
sons purchasing property under the installment plan, raving the
motion _of I1r• ueginn, the resolution
right to remonstrate. On
