The foll.ovring proceedings were had, to -zit:.
The Board renew agreement with He Sparks, grunting him the
use of ground owned by the City on Newmans Hill, for cultivati.._
during the summer o. 1915, in consideration that he keep the
ground free from noxious growths of any kind.
A petition was presented signed by P, J. Freeman for the im-
provement of South ^2nd Street, by macadamizing the roadway &
constricting cement curb, E-utter & sidewalks on both sides of
street , from South A. to Be Street, referred to Engineer for
Investigation.
A petition wus presented signed b�y 1• E. Smith et -al for the
construction of cement sidewalk 6 wide & Curb & Gutter on
both sides of Center Street, from Northwest 2nd to 5th 5treot, 1W
referred to Engineer for investigation.
A petition Pius presented signed by Edgar F. Hiatt et -al , for
Paving the roadways on 'oath 17th St, from South "B" to the
southend of street' also South "C" "D" & Heeveston Hoad from
South 16th to east line of South 19th Street, referred to the
Ebgineer for plans and investigaticn.
The Board meets to hear all persons interested or whose proper
ty is affected by the construction of cement sidewalk G' ti,'ide
on north side of North "J" Street, from North 12th to 17th St*
as provided for by Im roverieut resolution No• 4:7-1915• No one
appearing or remonstrating, The Board decides that the benefit

equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the City
Civil Engineer, thereupon takes final action on said resolution
