And now the Board award the contract for said improvement to F. Be Slick, at price named in bid eubr•itted there. fore on February Bth, 1915. In the matter of petitions, for cement alley let south of Lain St, from South 25rd St, to east corporation line; Also cement side- walks on both sides of South 25rd Street, from Lain to South "A" Street, the Engineer was directed to prepare plans etc., The Board unanimously adopted Declaratory Resolution No. 105-1115 Providing for the widening of North "J" Street from the alley east of North 161h Street to the road running north just east of North 17th Street, The Clerk was directed to notify The ,Reliance Foundry Co., The Wayne 'Yorks, and .lmerican Seeding Machine Co., to stop the`prac- tice of dumping on public streets, of off -fall from their foundry & factory. The Board on motion adjourned to meet Friday night with the com- mittee as selected, inthematter of paving North "A" Street. On account of a number of as5esements not being raid for oiling streets under public contract, on motion the Board decides that in the future all oiling must `done under private contract under the Specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, and the Board will not enter into contracts for oiling as done in 1914.
