The Board of Public Works of the City of hichmond In_
met in regular Session at the office of said Boars Th::,,.
march 4th, 1915, at 9 O'clock A. All the =embers of said
Board being present, Messrs, Bevis, Marlatt and YeMinn.
The following proceedings were had, to -wit: -
The Board meets to hear all persons interested or whose property
is affected by the improvement of South & North 5th Street, Also
Ft -Wayne Ave, by paving the roadway with one of the kinds of
modern pavements to -wit:- Concrete - Brick - Asphalt - Creoeotc?
Wooden Block, from the north property line of South "A" Stree-
north to Ft -Wayne Ave, thence on Ft-7a7ne Ave, to 7cr'h g-
as provided for by Improvement Resolution No,

to pay, the City agrees to pay the coat of the street & alley in-
tersections and such sum In addition thereto as will amount to th4
enm of 31,000.CG, and thereupon the Board takes final action on
said resolution the same being confirmed ad"Modified, there being
a remonstrances signed by a majority of the resident property
owners, the Board can proceed no further with said resolution
unless authorized by ordinance passed by a two-thirds vote of
the Common Council and approved by the mayor, on motion an ordi-
nance was ordered prepared for pacing of 3orth c;th Street, from
ULin to North "A" Street as above modified,
